Dr. Curt Locklear

Owner / Veterinarian
Dr. Locklear earned his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1979 from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary medicine. Dr. Locklear not only excels in diagnostics and surgery, but is known for his compassion and humanitarian efforts for animals.

Dr.Sarah Oxendine

Dr. Oxendine graduated from North Carolina State University in 2017. She brings new and innovative techniques to thepractice. Large animal medicine is Dr. Oxendine’s passion, and she excels in surgery and emergencies.

Dr. Mary Stewart

Dr. Stewart is the newest member of our excellent team of providers! Like Dr. Locklear, she attended Tuskegee University, and enjoys working with pets and livestock. She is looking forward to serving her new community and learning from our seasoned doctors.

Dr. Eunisa Lindsey

Dr. Lindsey comes to us from Greensboro, NC. She completed her DVM at Ross University, and moved back home to the states to pursue her career as a veterinarian.

Mickey Jacobs

RVT, Registered Veterinary Technician
Mickey Jacobs has been with Southeastern Veterinary Hospital for 22 years. He attended Central Carolina Community College, where he earned his Veterinary Technician license. He resides in Lumberton, NC where he was born and raised. In his spare time, Mickey attends horse shows and other equestrian events where he competes in Barrel Racing.

Natula Locklear

Natula is a Robeson County native, who has been with Southestern Veterinary Hospital for eight years. She resides in Pembroke with her husband Billy, and their three children. Natula loves all of God’s creatures, but is especially gifted in the treatment of large animals and livestock.

Destinee Lowry

Technician Assistant
Rachel is a full-time college student, pursuing a career in Veterinary Medicine. She is currently enrolled at UNC-Pembroke for her undergraduate studies. Rachel enjoys all outdoor activities, and spending time with her cocker spaniel, Black Jack.

Sarah Locklear

Sarah is a life-long member of the SEVH family. She has been with us for most of her adult life, along-side her father, Dr. Locklear. She graduated from UNC-P in 2013, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree. She taught at Purnell Swett High School, but eventually returned to the clinic where she is a receptionist. Sarah is the mother of Ellie, a beautiful baby girl, and Mia, her beloved pomeranian.

Megan Freeman

Megan is a Lumberton native, who has been with SEVH since 2015. She is a graduate of Robeson Community College. When Megan is not at work, she spends time with her loveable pitbull, Boss. Megan enjoys the learning opportunities, and the fast-pace of the office.

Brianna Freeman

Brianna has been working at SEVH since 2016. She is a recent graduate of UNC-Pembroke, where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry. She lives in Lumberton with Ranger, Buttercup, Dixie, and Little Bit, her four fur-babies.

Micaela Bullard

Micaela is the newest member of our front desk team. She is a student at UNC-P, where she is pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology with a Zoology concentration. Micaela enjoys spending time with her little sister, and her Australian Shepherd, Rosalie.

Barbara Oxendine

Kennel Maintenance Supervisor/Groomer
Mrs. Barbara has been with us since November of 2017. She oversees our boarding facility, and is also a part-time groomer.

She is a Robeson County native, who is happily married with three sons,

In her spare time, she practices cosmetology, and enjoys spending time with her labs.

Sevin Hairr

Pet Care Specialist-Shift Leader
Sevin is the shift manager of the Kennel Maintenance family. He has a sweet English Bulldog named JuJu, and enjoys hanging out with her in his spare time.

Salena Jacobs

Pet Care Specialist
Salena has been with SEVH for sixteen years. She prides herself on her ability to bond with all of her boarding clients, and enjoys caring for the animals at their ‘home away from home.’ She has two children, Jacob and Lydia, and a sweet granddaughter named Nikki. Salena resides in Pembroke, NC where she was born and raised.

Martee Campbell

Pet Care Specialist
Martee has just returned to work after becoming a mother to her son, Dustin. She enjoys spending time with him, playing with her fur kids, and looks forward to meeting your fur-babies!

JoAnn Paulk

JoAnn has been with SEVH for about 2 years. She is responsible for making our fur-babies smell and look fresh and clean!
